House of Sound: How Brass Instruments Work
Third grade continued to work on writing rhythm (as part of their composition project) and second grade continued to work on remembering bass clef lines and spaces. Both worked on SPring concert pieces as well.
Kindergarten and first grade learned about "timbre," which is like a texture the ear can feel. K and 1 proved this by naming instruments by the sound alone (eyes closed). Kindergarten can now say all the words of "Rattlin' Bog" - now we will be working on getting faster :)
Reminder to third graders: always bring your composition project to every class, especially Mondays!
