Music Theory Practice

If you are looking for the links to Spring Concert song recordings/lyrics, simply scroll down :)

For students who wish to practice reading the clefs online, here is a great site:
Teoria

Click both the treble and bass clefs (or you can do one at a time).
Under "Use notes over" click on BOTH "lines" and "spaces"
Under "Answer using" click "notes"
Under "Tempo" click "no tempo"

I recommend studying at LEAST a little every day! Focus on not confusing the two clefs.

April 3-7

This week was spent in preparation for the upcoming Spring Concert. K-3 reviewed all of their repertoire. Kindergarten have all their songs learned and memorized. First grade is finishing up All the Beautiful Colors, Ahe Lau Makani and adding choreography to I Let Her Go-Go. Second grade has learned all of their songs and is now working on memorization. Third grade is finishing up Pirate Song and the end of Rainsong. They have Wink to the Little Baby almost completely memorized. Kindergarten also spent some time working on rhythm dictation, and third grade had their music theory exam.

Men's Chorus is working on Elijah and Joshua for the Spring Concert and hopes to be ready with the addition of an extra rehearsal or two.
