All grades began their journeys into music history! We started with ancient Greece. We covered the legend of the Muses, and the fact that the word "music" comes from an ancient Greek word mousike, which means "the art of the Muses." Students watched videos of ancient Greek instruments (see below) and made elegant notes for their future Passport project.
